Meet Amber
Hi, I’m Amber, the owner and florist behind The Wild Daisy Flower Shop.
My love for flowers started long before The Wild Daisy ever existed. I began working in a flower shop when I was just 14 years old, and somehow, flowers have continued to find their way back into my life ever since.
I think what I love most about flowers is that they’re so deeply connected to life itself.
Flowers are there when we fall in love and when we say goodbye. They’re carried down the aisle, held in tiny hands at a first dance, brought home to a new mom, placed beside someone we’re grieving, and given on completely ordinary days just to remind someone that they’re loved.
They celebrate beginnings. They bring comfort through endings. And sometimes, they say the things our hearts feel when we simply don’t have the words.
That’s why what I do means so much to me.
When someone trusts me to create flowers for their wedding, a loved one’s funeral, a birthday, a celebration, or even a simple “I was thinking about you,” I know I’m creating more than an arrangement. In a small way, I’m becoming part of a moment they may remember for the rest of their life.
My flowers tend to be a lot like the way I see life beautiful, imperfect, a little wild, and meant to be enjoyed while they’re here.
I love garden inspired designs, movement, texture, seasonal blooms, and flowers that have personality. I don’t believe everything has to be perfectly placed to be beautiful.
And that’s really what The Wild Daisy is about.
It’s about creating with my hands, connecting with people, celebrating this beautiful life we get to live, and putting a little more beauty into the world whenever I can.
